While the concern and support demonstrated by volunteer work is essential, material assistance is always needed. As funding for homeless and housing programs continues to be cut, we have to do more with less. Please consider donating in any amount—100% of your donation will go directly to these essential programs that are making a difference and ending homelessness.

You can also contribute needed items and services directly to one of our Coalition member agencies near you. Please visit our Coalition member agencies websites to see what good and/or services are needed most.

Advocacy is critical to creating the systemic change necessary to end homelessness. It means working to bring about positive changes in policies and programs on the local, state, and federal levels. It requires working with various sectors of the community like local legislative officials, direct service providers, and the business community to develop meaningful strategies to end homelessness. It also means changing your own language and behaviors in small ways to contribute to the larger change of how people experiencing homelessness are seen and treated. Please subscribe and keep up with our efforts.

Volunteering your time to work directly with people experiencing homelessness is one of the best ways to not only learn about homelessness, but to help meet the immediate need of those experiencing homelessness. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. Reach out to one of our member organizations near you to see how you can help and encourage your friends and family to get involved too!
